Українська мова за професійним спрямуванням: життєвий цикл навчальної дисципліни та її статус у сучасних педагогічних закладах вищої освіти.

Abstract

У статті на основі визначених періодів еволюційного розвитку української мови за професійним спрямуванням як навчального курсу введено та обґрунтовано поняття «життєвий цикл навчальної дисципліни». Визначено чинники тривалості періодів життєвого циклу та варіанти їх трансформації. Проаналізовано освітні програми першого (бакалаврського) рівня спеціальності 013 «Початкова освіта» з метою з’ясування актуального статусу навчального курсу в сучасних педагогічних закладах вищої освіти. The relevance of the research is caused by the necessity to develop an efficient methodical system of teaching the Ukrainian language for professional purposes, which requires determination of the aim and tasks of the academic discipline. The aim of the course should be expressed in phased goal setting and correspond to the components of global objectives of education. Understanding of the aim and purpose of an academic discipline consolidates and raises its status at institutions of higher education, ensuring its long life cycle. The aim of the article is to figure out the life cycle and status of the discipline at modern pedagogical institutions of higher education, determine the aim and tasks of teaching the Ukrainian language for professional purposes. The “life cycle of an academic discipline” concept has been formulated: it is the time of operation of a discipline in the educational system of a country, during which it is able to efficiently carry out the relevant educational functions. Duration of the periods of the life cycle of an academic discipline depends on many factors: the urgency of finding solutions to educational problems, the political will of the educational leadership, historical circumstances, efficiency of the elaborated methodical systems, content mobility, etc. A formulation of the aim of teaching the Ukrainian language for professional purposes to future pedagogical specialists has been proposed: formation of the spoken and written professional language of students by increasing the level of the determined competences, development of innovativeness of thinking and working with information, maintaining the interest in the professional activity with the purpose of forming a personality of a competitive specialist ready for constant self-improvement in the chosen sphere of activity. The prospects for further scientific research are substantiation of the theory of managing the process of teaching the Ukrainian language for professional purposes and prediction of its future development.
