dc.description.abstractAn international team of authors-scientists created the monograph t and practising journalists within the framework of the scientific-educational project "Journalism: Ukrainian and Slovak experience". The book has three parts: methodological and institutional foundations of social communication activity, journalism and social communication, and practical aspects of journalism. The authors of the monograph describe the results of the analysis of the communicative interaction of the state and civil society in Ukraine in the postmodern era. Attention is paid to the institutional features of the functioning of regional mass media and the formation and development of journalism in the system of social communications in Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, and Cuba. The team of authors examines the media coverage of theatre productions by Ukrainian artists in Slovakia from February 2022 to December 2023, as well as the specifics of the influence of communication policy on publishing activities. On the monograph pages, the reader will find the results of the analysis of the situation in the field of ethics in journalistic practice in Slovakia. The reader will find details of the transformation of the position of Slovak tabloids in the print media market in the annotated collective work. The authors analyze the processes of concentration of attention in the media during the Russian-Ukrainian war and talk about the specifics of the formation of "RADIO VISION" and the creation of podcasts, analyzing the radio air of the public broadcaster "Ukrainian Radio Ivano-Frankivsk". The monograph concludes with a detailed description of the features of practice-oriented training as a tool for the formation of a professional journalist.
