Abstract

У статті розглядається питання про точну дату заснування української секції австрійської соціал-демократії епохи Габсбурзької монархії. Звертається увага на розбіжності в датуванні виникнення УСДП у сучасній історіографії та на основі джерел, обґрунтовується факт проведення установчої конференції партії 17 вересня 1899 р. The article deals with the question about an exact date of the founding of the Ukrainian section of the Austrian social democracy in an epoch of the Habsburg monarchy. The author focuses attention on the distinctions in dating of the arising of the USDP in a modern historiography and proves the fact the constituent conference of the party was held on September 17, 1899 on the basis of historical sources.
