Współczesne sąsiedztwo Ukrainy z Polską i Rosją na tle ideologii oraz działalności ukraińskich nacjonalistów

Abstract

In this article, the Polish-Ukrainian neighborhood of Ukraine is analyzed in the light of all-Ukrainian association "Svoboda” programme principles and activity. The author substantiates that the political programme and activi-ties of the party provides for the protection of the Ukrainian state from the foreign-policy intervention of Russian Federation and fight against the at-tempts of Polish right-wing radicals to censure the acts of Ukrainian nation-al liberation movement of 1940s–1950s. Ukrainian nationalists resist the russification processes and separatist pro-Russian movements in the state and try not to allow the assignment of the status of “state-building nation” to ethnic Russians. “Svoboda” is fighting against the engagement of Ukraine in military-political and economical blocs which are under control of Russian Federation. An important component of the ideological activity of the party is the opposition to the obtrusion of the Russian neo-imperial interpretation of the national history on Ukrainians At the same time, Ukrainian nationalists welcome the leading role of the Poland in the matter of supporting the desire of Ukraine for the euro-integration, readiness to forgive for the complicated pages of international relations, but at the same time condemnation of the attempts of separate polish politicians to shift the responsibility for Ukrainian-Polish conflict of the middle of XX century solely on OUN-UPA (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and Ukrainian Insurgent Army).
