Abstract:	У публікації висвітлено соціально-економічне становище української трудової еміграції в Італії, здійснено її класифікацію, проаналізовано характерні риси та особливості.
Description:	The article is an examination of social and economic position of Ukrainian labour emigration in Italy. It presents a classification and analysis of its characteristic features and peculiarities. Nowadays the scientists are talking about the "fourth wave" of Ukrainian emigration meaning a mass departure of our citizens to work abroad. One of the countries that received a considerable number of Ukrainians is the Republic of Italy. Suffering the labour force shortage in such spheres as elderly, health and children care or cleaning Italy is an employer of about half million of our citizens.
