In the Scientific Library the presentations of books and publishing projects, meetings with well-know Ukrainian writers and carried out. Creative Gallery of works of painters and photo artists is opened in the hall of the Scientific Library, where the works of university instructors and students of the Institute of Arts of PreCarpathian National University, members of Regional Organization of National Union of Painters and amateur studios are exhibited.
In the reading-rooms of the Scientific Library subject bookish exhibitions and literature reviewing are regularly conducted.
Since 2005 Automated Library System “UFD/Biblioteka” has been functioning. At present available electronic catalogue includes 436 341 records of books, periodicals, abstracts of the dissertations. For library attendants the room for free access to the electronic catalogue is opened.
The Scientific Library serves … users, among them … students. Annualy nearly …. readers attend the Library.
